McLean, Va. - March 1, 2010 - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection awarded InfoPro the Border Enforcement Management Systems (BEMS) Program Office’s software application and operational maintenance (O&M) support contract to provide system and software design, engineering, development, and O&M applications and systems support services. The contract is valued at $57.2 million through August 2012.
CBP is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our Nation’s borders at and between the official ports of entry. BEMS’ mission is to support mission systems, border systems and information dissemination across the full system lifecycle. InfoPro will support approximately 50,000 personnel at several CBP internal offices and external federal agencies or bureaus supporting the common goals and missions of DHS such as the Office of Administration; Office of Border Patrol; Office of Field Operations; Office of Human Resource Management; and Office of Air and Marine.

Prior to returning to InfoPro, James was Program Manager at SRA International for one of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's largest enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization efforts, the Web Based Supply Chain Management project. Previously, James was Chief Technology Officer at InfoPro and Vice President at Technology Solutions Company.

McLean, Va. - Sept. 7, 2007 - InfoPro Incorporated has been assessed at Level 2 of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI). The company's management processes were assessed in accordance with CMMI-Development version 1.2 and met all goals for implementing the Program Management Life Cycle at the SEI Level 2 Process Maturity.
InfoPro invested more than a year preparing for this assessment and was assessed by the Process Company, an independent appraiser certified by SEI. This latest CMMI Level 2 certification applies to InfoPro's company-wide project management processes. InfoPro had previously been appraised at CMMI Level 2 based on its work at the Department of Treasury.
